uVida is Made in Germany
The development and production of all our products takes place entirely in Germany, at our site in Hopferbach in the Allgäu region. We started out with a team of 3 people. Today, 25 employees work at uVida Vision in Hopferbach - and the trend is rising.
uVida trainer app
In addition to the hardware, uVida offers a trainer app that is seamlessly linked to our analysis devices. This combination of state-of-the-art hardware and user-friendly software enables precise respiratory metabolic analyses both at rest and during exercise in the simplest possible way. uVida goes beyond the mere analysis of metabolism on request: With the uVida Trainer app, our partners have the option of creating individual training and nutrition plans with just one click, which are optimally tailored to the metabolic analysis values and the customer's goal. This enables our business partners to guarantee holistic care and support for their customers.

We developed our evaluation procedure together with the University of Leipzig. They have conducted several studies with our product and regularly confirm the validity (accuracy) of the results. The University of Leipzig is considered the most renowned university in Germany in this field! Naturally, we have patented our process worldwide.

The KNESTEL Group has been developing and producing electronic and mechatronic customer-specific solutions for over 40 years. The Allgäu-based company is a specialist and competent development partner of uVida. The uVida Dynostics system is developed and produced exclusively in Germany.
University of Leipzig
The uVida Dynostics analysis device was developed in cooperation with the University of Leipzig (Institute for Sports Medicine and Prevention). The institute focuses on teaching, research and patient care in the field of spiroergometry. The existing cooperation includes in particular the exchange of scientific and technological expertise. The uVida Food & Activity platforms have been developed and adapted with content from the institute. This development is constantly supported by means of critical feedback and the measurement results are subjected to a content and usage-related review. In close cooperation, the measurement system and the evaluation logic are tested for validity and reliability.
Sports science background
The development is also supported by a team of sports and nutrition scientists and doctors from our expert network. Among other things, these experts have many years of experience in the evaluation and interpretation of breath metabolic analyses and are specialists in their field. Our internal uVida Academy team, consisting of sports and nutrition scientists, also constantly contributes its know-how to the further development of uVida.
