A breath metabolic analysis is a procedure in which your metabolism is analyzed and evaluated. Metabolism includes all the chemical processes in your body that are responsible for energy metabolism, the absorption and breakdown of nutrients and the excretion of waste products.

Our breath metabolism analyses (uVida Food uVida Stress & uVida Activity) are carried out using the gases you breathe. Various parameters are measured and evaluated in order to obtain information about your individual metabolism. These include, for example, resting energy consumption (the amount of energy your body needs at rest), fat metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, oxygen consumption and stress levels.

For our breath metabolic analyses, you wear a mask with a sensor and an arm device that records and analyzes your breathing gases. The analyses take between 5-20 minutes and help to determine your metabolic type, identify possible metabolic disorders and provide individual recommendations for your diet and training.
